The tour is designed for those with less time. It is a full and very interesting tour providing the the best locations for bird spotting in the time available. We stay at three different destinations around Kathmandu including two hill resorts outside of the Kathmandu valley renowned for their variety of birds.

Itineraries in Details

Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu. Transfer to Hotel. Time permitting half day sightseeing tour of some Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swoyambhunath.

Kathmandu Durbar Square : Famous for its innumerable temples including that of Kumari, the living goddess and the ancient seat of government.

Swoyambhunath : An ancient Buddhist stupa,  famous for the nice  view of the valley and Buddhist tradition. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.

 Day 02 : Full day sightseeing of Pashupatinath, Boudhanath & Patan. Later drive to Godavari. Overnight in the Resort.

Pashupatinath : The most holy Hindu temple situated on the bank of river Bagmati where cremation takes place in open air.

Boudhanath : The biggest Buddhist stupa  with more than 20 monasteries lying nearby and settlement of Tibetan refugees.

Patan : Historic medieval kingdom famous for its Buddhist tradition.    Overnight in hotel.

Day 03 : Full day Excursion to Phulchowki Hill for Bird watching.  Return to resort.

Day 04 : Early morning drive 1 hour to Bhaktapur ( the historic town) after Sightseeing drive to Nagarkot. Over night in the Hotel.

Day 05 : Explore the surroundings of Nagarkot. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 06 : A short day hike from Nagarkot to Sankhu with the Possibility of Bird watching. Drive back to Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 07 : Excursion to Shivapuri Watershed and wildlife Reserve for Bird Watching. Back to kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 08 : Groups choice of bird watching destination within the valley with the possibility of optional sight seeing of some rural villages or Mountain Flight. Evening Nepali dinner with cultural Program.

Day 09 : Free until departure. Transfer to Airport for onwards journey. End of the Service.
