Day 01 : Arrival in
Kathmandu. Transfer to Hotel. Time
permitting half day sightseeing tour
of some Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swoyambhunath.
Kathmandu Durbar Square : Famous
for its innumerable temples including that of Kumari,
the living goddess and the ancient seat of
government.
Swoyambhunath : An ancient Buddhist
stupa, famous for the nice view of the valley and
Buddhist tradition. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu. |
Day 02 : Full day sightseeing
of Pashupatinath, Boudhanath &
Patan.
Pashupatinath : The most holy Hindu temple situated
on the bank of river Bagmati where cremation takes
place in open air.
Boudhanath : The biggest Buddhist stupa with more
than 20 monasteries lying nearby and settlement of
Tibetan refugees.
Patan : Historic medieval kingdom famous for its
Buddhist tradition. Overnight in hotel |
Day 03 :
Excursion to Nagarkot
and en route visit Bhaktapur.
Nagarkot : Lying in an altitude of 2100m some 30km
east of Kathmandu it is a famous for the wide range
view of the Himalayas and sunrise on it.
Bhaktapur : A beautiful medieval town famous for its
tranquil life, wood carvings and cultural heritage
Overnight in the Resort in Nagarkot. |
Day 04 : Hiking from Nagarkot
to Sankhu for about 3-4 hrs. Visit Sankhu before driving back to
Kathmandu. |
Day 05 : Drive to Royal Chitwan National Park. 150 km south
of Kathmandu/ 5-6 hrs drive, through
beautiful mountain and rivers. Arrival
at the jungle resort/camp.
Late afternoon jungle activities in
the national park/ Tharu village tour.
Overnight in
the Resort. |
Day 06 : Full day jungle
activities in the Park. like
Elephant safari, Jungle/ nature walk
inside the jungle, Dugout Canoe
ride on the river where we can see wild
crocodile, Bird Watching and in the
evening Stick dance. Overnight at the resort. |
Day 07 : Drive to Pokhara
(140
km from Chitwan Park). Arrival at
Hotel at Lake side in Pokhara.
Boating on the Fewa lake. Overnight
at the hotel. |
Day 08 : Half day sightseeing
and a short hiking in and around the
valley.
Overnight at the hotel. |
Day 09 : Drive/ Fly back to
Kathmandu. If flown, half day sight
seeing of medieval newari villages
of Khokana & Bungamati. Overnight
at the hotel. |
Day 10 : AM Optional Mountain
Flight. PM Excursion to the rural
villages of newari People, Thecho
and Chapagaon & walk 1 ½ hrs
Godavari, a beautiful countryside.
Overnight in the Resort at Godavari. |
Day 11 : Drive back to
Kathmandu en route visit a nice village,
Harisiddhi. Check in at Hotel and rest
time for Free. Evening Nepali dinner with
cultural program. |
Day 12 : Free until Departure
time. Transfer to Airport for
onwards flight. End of
