Kathmandu, Nagarkot & Pokhara Tour

Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu. Transfer to Hotel. Time permitting half day sightseeing tour of some Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swoyambhunath.

Kathmandu Durbar Square : Famous for its innumerable temples including that of Kumari, the living goddess and the ancient seat of government.

Swoyambhunath : An ancient Buddhist stupa,  famous for the nice  view of the valley and Buddhist tradition. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02 : Full day sightseeing of Pashupatinath, Boudhanath & Patan.

Pashupatinath : The most holy Hindu temple situated on the bank of river Bagmati where cremation takes place in open air.

Boudhanath : The biggest Buddhist stupa  with more than 20 monasteries lying nearby and settlement of Tibetan refugees.

Patan : Historic medieval kingdom famous for its Buddhist tradition.    Overnight in hotel.

Day 03 : Excursion to Nagarkot and en route visit Bhaktapur.

Nagarkot : Lying in an altitude of 2100m some 30km east of Kathmandu it is a famous for the wide range view of the Himalayas and sunrise on it.

Bhaktapur : A beautiful medieval town famous for its tranquil life and wood carving and cultural heritage Overnight in the Resort in Nagarkot..

Day 04 : Drive back to Kathmandu via Changu Narayan, the Oldest and most beautiful temple of Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel. About 2hrs hiking is possible on this day.

Day 05 : Drive/ fly to Pokhara(200km). arrival at Hotel at Lake side in Pokhara. Sightseeing in Pokhara. Overnight at Hotel at lake side.

Day 06 : Sightseeing in Pokhara of Devi's falls, caves and natural sites. and a short hiking close to Annapurna Mountains. Overnight at hotel at Lake side

Day 07 : Drive / Fly back to Kathmandu. If flown, half day sightseeing of medieval newari villages of Khokana and Bungamati. Evening Nepali dinner with cultural program. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 08 : Free until Departure time. Transfer to Airport for Departure or onwards Journey. End of the Services.
