Day 01 : Arrival in
Kathmandu. Transfer to Hotel. Time
permitting half day sightseeing tour
of some Kathmandu Durbar Square
and Swoyambhunath.
Kathmandu Durbar Square : Famous
for its innumerable temples including that of Kumari,
the living goddess and the ancient seat of
government.
Swoyambhunath : An ancient Buddhist
stupa, famous for the nice view of the valley and
Buddhist tradition. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu. |
Day 02 : Full day sightseeing
of Pashupatinath, Boudhanath &
Patan.
Pashupatinath : The
most holy Hindu temple situated on
the bank of river Bagmati where
cremation takes place in open air.
Boudhanath : The biggest Buddhist stupa with more
than 20 monasteries lying nearby and settlement of
Tibetan refugees.
Patan : Historic medieval kingdom famous for its
Buddhist tradition. |
Day 03 : Excursion to the
rural villages of Newari people,
Thecho and Chapagaon & walk
about 1 ½ hrs to Godavari, a beautiful countryside.
Overnight in the Resort. |
Day 04 : Drive to Changunarayan
the oldest temple in Nepal and
hiking to Telkot. From here drive to
Nagarkot about 30 km (east of
Kathmandu on the small hilltop
2100m) for a nice view
of the Himalayas and Sunrise.
Overnight in the Resort. |
Day 05 : Hiking from Nagarkot
to Nala for about 3-4 hrs and
drive to Dhulikhel. Visit Dhulikhel
and overnight at the resort. |
| Day 06
: Drive back
to Kathmandu En route visit Bhaktapur.
Bhaktapur : A beautiful medieval
town famous for its tranquil life and wood carving
and cultural heritage. Overnight in the Hotel.
Evening Nepali Dinner with Cultural program. |
Day 07 :
Free
until departure. Transfer to Airport for
onwards journey. End of
the Service. |
