TEA HOUSE TREKKING
It is just an easy way to trek where
accommodation is provided in the
local houses, small inns and lodges
run by friendly local families,
commonly known as the tea houses.
Certainly things are kept simple
with bedrooms usually very small,
the shared bathroom facilities often
outside and meals served in a dining
hall. There will always be a
trekking team consisting of a
trekking guide and some porters to
make the trek as hassle-free and
enjoyable as possible. |
