Rara lake is the largest lake in
Nepal, yet it receives relatively
few visitors, mainly due to its
isolation. Situated at almost 3000m.
the surroundings is a habitat of
various rare and endangered wildlife
and plant species. Specially the
Himalayan Blue Sheep and the Snow
leopards are at home in this high
rugged wilderness.
