Elephant Safari
Riding on the back of an elephant
gives a vantage point view to all
the animal activities in the jungle.
It is lot safer also, as even a
large animal does not dare to
confront these giant beasts.
Properly trained and guided by the
mahaut –the elephant driver, these
intelligent animals have very strong
sense of smell which can help us
locate many animals in their natural
habitat.
Bird
Watching
Situated just below the Himalayan
Mountains with a sub tropical
climate, this protected area is home
to more than 450 different species
of birds. Birds from far places like
Siberia, China come here in the
winter season looking for a warmer
climate.
Canoe Ride
A Himalayan river flows gently in
the flat land and in this gentle
flow of water floating in a canoe is
certainly a very beautiful
experience. This river is also a
habitat for two kinds of crocodile
found in the kingdom. There are also
a lot of sightings of different
species of birds and wild animals
especially coming to the bank of the
river to quench their thirst.

In the colorful mosaic of different
ethnic groups that the country is
home to, Tharu is an indigenous
